I think she had a valid reason for waiting so long to "come out".
She became a U.S. citizen in June of this year. No doubt she wanted to make sure her citizenship was finalized before launching her protest and subsequent lawsuit. Given the way Muslim women are treated, one can legitimately question whether the idea was entirely hers, or whether Muslim leaders put her up to it.
I mean, Disney is the face of freedom to the world. Imagine
the coup it would be for the Muslims to be able to step in and force America's great icon to adapt their rules to accommodate
sharia law. I think this issue is much greater than just a
disgruntled employee.

She knew the dress code when she accepted the job. If they won't let her wear the Muslim symbol of woman's lower status and subjugation at Disneyland, maybe the Muslims need to make their own theme park. That's the American Way! After all, Dolly Parton wanted a more wholesome type of park with no alcohol and so she created Dollywood. Of course, I'm not sure how many Americans would go to a park named Six Flags over Islamabad, featuring rides like The Suicide Bomber Experience and World Trade Center Flyers' Wild Ride, or play games like Whack-A-Jew and Stone the Infidel.

Hambone, I watched a show about 9/11 on National Geographic. It made me angry how we allowed this to happen. No controls, people not using their head, and when the event happened, no cooperation between FAA and military. The only reason we didn't have to rebuild the White House is because of the passengers who figured out they were doomed if they didn't try to do something. We are complacent and you are right, we are allowing them footholds here in America to make it easier.

After reading all of the comments about muslims and their religion, all have merit, but we have to look at reallity, yes there are Muslims that are peaceful and caring as in all people. The Muslim thrust to take the world is on, peaceful or not. Their birthrate dictates that, They have a rate of seven to a family, USA and Canada have a rate of two so our culture will be surpassed in very few years. I come from a country that has already seen it happen. The Muslims will not conform to our way of life religion or not. My siters adapted son
married a Muslim girl and they are accepted by the church they go to (Christian) Her parents will have nothing to do with them and did not attend the wedding and they are not allowed at any Muslim gathering. In areas of the city that Muslims live there are signs that white folk are not allowed after dark because of street violence. Is that what we want?

TM: your question was: Why is it suddenly so popular to spout the rights of Muslims, illegals, blah blah, but our own rights we arent supposed to use.

Hambone: I was really talking about the Tenn Mosque. I think somewhere I'm on record as saying that they have the right to build the "ground zero" one, but it doesn't mean they should. I think as a practical matter they should build somewhere else.

All: I'm not a secret Muslim, I just think that Freedom of Religion is one of the three greatest things that the Founders did (the others being three separate but equal branches of Govt, and Freedom of speech). All major countries have had serious religious strife at sometime in their history....except us.

Sad Sam, I respectfully disagree. This is not about Freedom of Religion. It's about the placement of a building, and other concerns can be entered into the debate. For example, one U.S. Senator said he opposes the placement of the mosque because it represents a security risk; he said mosques are often used as a safe haven for terrorists to gather and plot terrorist activities. He sited the earlier bombing in New York as an example.

I've not heard anyone else mention this, so I must be way out in left field on this one, but I fear the mosque could be merely a ruse for radical Muslims to entrench themselves into
the financial center of the free world. Twice radical Muslims have bombed Manhattan....why? Because it is the big prize...
disrupt the economies of the free world, and you strike a huge
blow for Allah, and against Satan. Imagine the implications of Manhattan being blown off the map. Ok, so what will this new building cost? A few million dollars? Wouldn't that be a cheap price to plunge
the free world economies into chaos? And how could they do that? Why, construct a building in the center of Manhattan, where no one monitors what goes on inside, load it up with powerful bombs, catch the next flight out of town, and click
the remote. Boom. I know it seems far fetched, but it CAN happen just that way. So I say, why even take the chance.

TM: there is no use with me retorting re: Muslim and black.....just like the birth certificate, y'all are going to believe what you want: ("Show it (b/c) to us." Ok, here it is. "It's fake!!!" Can't win for losing as my dad used to say.)

The Bush comment was in reference to the "snuck in" comment. He didn't "sneak in". He won fair and square. Don't try and delegitimize his election with terming it as "snuck in" or because Hillary didn't do this, or McCain didn't do that and I promise not to bring up Bush......well, at least for a day or so!!!!
