Yes I must admit that I prejudged Barack Obama when he was running for President. I assumed he would be bad for the country. I assumed he would be too liberal and would be too weak on defense. I assumed he would spend too much money trying to press liberal programs and pork projects upon us. I assumed all this and did not wait to see how he would do. So you see, I am guilty of prejudging. You should not prejudge people and that’s what I did. By now your assuming I have gone off the deep end huh? No, just because I prejudged doesn’t mean I was wrong!
He is guilty of all those things. The national debt has exponentially increased this past year and for what? Jobs saved or created? You mean the 30 jobs saved or created in Arizona’s 15th Congressional district? That sounds fine except for one thing….THERE IS NO 15TH DISTRICT! Or how about in Iowa, where $10.6 million was spent and 39 jobs created ….again in nonexistent districts!!! The best is in Connecticut’s 42nd district (which also does not exist), where 25 jobs were created with zero stimulus dollars!!!!
I’m not making this up…this is reported on the recovery.gov website which the Whitehouse setup for us to track how the money was being spent. You would think if they were going to lie about jobs saved (which has to be a lie because how do you count that) they would at least stick to real congressional districts!
Of course we were told that this money was needed to be spent in the first place because if we didn’t have the stimulus plan, our unemployment rate would reach 8 percent! Well maybe we shouldn’t have had the plan, because now it’s over 10 percent!
I’m sure that the administration will come up with a million reasons that these things were wrong…website numbers reported wrong and maybe a miscalculation on the effects of the recession causing unemployment to be higher than planned. However one thing they cannot lie and try to wiggle out from is how they have changed the war on terror (the 9/11 commission called it that, along with numerous Republicans and Democrats) to a manmade disaster and now to criminal actions. Yes, the war on terror is over because now the White House says it’s not a war on terror, it’s a crime committed against the people of the United States. This is proven by their decision to send professed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his co-conspirators to New York for trial in civilian court. Why would they ever think that this is a good idea? This is someone who has admitted guilt in planning the 9/11 attacks and has professed that they are at war against the United States. If anyone ever should be in a military trial, it should be him. Instead he is being sent to the scene of his attacks…oh sorry, “crimes” so that he can go on trial and have the full benefits that someone committing a crime in the United States would have. Will he be found guilty? Probably but it’s a court of law and you never know. Who thought OJ would be found not guilty, but look how that turned out. Even if he is found guilty, we will still have to sit through a media circus and listen to what will really amount to a trial against George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfield, and our entire intelligence community. There is no good reason for this to be in a criminal courtroom…none! As Senator Lindsey Graham of S.C said “We’re making bad history here,” Graham said. “The big problem I have is that you’re criminalizing the war. … I think you’ve made a fundamental mistake here.” In his own testimony Eric Holder said “I know that we are at war,” Well really Mr. Holder, if you think that, they why is the mastermind of the attack being tried in a criminal trial?
No what’s really criminal is the acts of this administration and hopefully they will be found guilty by the American people in 2010 and 2012 at the polls!
