Clint Walker and Cheyenne
The western series Cheyenne was the beginning of the one hour western series on tv during the
years 1955 through 1963. The star of the show is Clint Walker starring as Cheyenne Bodie a cowboy
roving the American West. He was a gentleman cowboy fighting evil. The Cheyenne show was the second highest rated show for the season 1957/1958 for ABC television.
You may ask what has this to do with music, well Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Vaughn Monroe and
Eddie Dean were all singing cowboys, remember them? Clint Walker also sang in a couple of episodes
of Cheyenne. He has a fine singing voice and has recorded a couple of CD’s, one being gospel songs.
